We would like to say a massive thank you to Arundel Museum for hosting the 2nd Edition of the 'Meet The Bowdleflodes' children's wildlife art exhibition during half term.

We cannot thank Heather and all the team enough. It has been an absolute pleasure to be in the space and meet the many visitors and wonderful children who took part in the activities. We have lots of work ahead connecting with all the contacts from the exhibition and look forward to the new local schools taking part in the project! We smashed all our goals, with nearly 500 visitors over the week as well as some wonderful support from the local press and media and we reached over 10,000 people on Facebook in Sussex & Hampshire!

We very much hope and look forward to working with Arundel Museum again in the future.

Celebrating The Life of John Knowles

This month we are celebrating the life of John Knowles, founder of Marwell Zoo, who lived to a wonderful age of 90. He did an amazing job back in the early 1970’s to bring to the fore the plight of Endangered Species worldwide, introducing breeding programmes aimed at returning animals in danger of extinction to the wild, wherever it was possible. The African Oryx is a great example of his successes.

We think John Knowles would have been very supportive of our mission to bring awareness of these problems to primary school children across the world. Great news this month that we have entries of animals to the Online Bowdleflode Wildlife Park coming from a school in Bosnia Herzogovina and we also have our first fantasy animal entries from Australia!
Thank you for your ongoing support of The Bowdleflodes Wildlife Project.

Yours sincerely
