Slindon College is a specialist school for boys aged 8 – 18 and is situated in what was Slindon House in the small village of Slindon. It opened in 1957 and caters for boys with dyslexia, dyspraxia, speech and language difficulties and autism spectrum difficulties.
Slindon village is a small but ancient village having been mentioned in the Domesday Book in 1086. It has about 600 inhabitants and is sometimes called the pumpkin capital of Britain. It is about 6 miles from the town of Arundel and 8 miles from the cathedral city of Chichester.
