PCI DSS Policy

PCI DSS stands for the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard.  This is a certification which ensures maximum security for clients of any data centre that processes financial transactions. Companies who store, process and/or send credit card details are required to be PCI DSS certified.

The big credit card companies (Visa Inc., MasterCard, JCB, American Express and Discover Financial Services) were responsible for setting up the PCI DSS system and protocol. PCI DSS is the most important security standard in the payment industry for securing data.  This whole area of payment security is regulated by the PCI Security Standards Council.

Bowdleflodes Ltd uses data centres that are independently audited for PCI DSS compliance annually.
