This is Lolly. Lolly is a Giraflode who, at 6 metres, is so tall that she has to bend double to speak to anyone. It is thought that she is originally a cross between a horse and a tall giraffe.
She has a huge long neck with spindly legs and can gallop really fast, but she is a gentle creature and often sits in the zoo writing stories and drawing.
You can sometimes find her, late in the evening in the Bowdlelfode Zoo with lots of other animals all sitting round her at bedtime, while she reads from a Bowdlebook and often she just makes up all sorts of imaginary tales which everyone loves.
She is called Lolly because she spends all her money buying ice lollies. Let’s hope she cleans her teeth well!
