Hi. I’m Professor Gett and I’m in charge of the Bowdleflode Zoo. We breed an amazing collection of animals and look after the Online Fantasy Zoo as well.
Hello there. I’m Bozo, the bear with the gruff voice. I look after HM Queen Charlotte and I’m her very favourite animal of all time.
Hello! I'm Muppy, one of Bowdleflodeland’s Spotty Dogs and you can find us everywhere.
I’m Lady Butterbugly and I live in an antibacterial bubble. I have a scorpion’s tail and can give you a rather nasty sting if you make me cross.Hello! I'm Muppy, one of Bowdleflodeland’s Spotty Dogs and you can find us everywhere.

Have you entered your own animal yet?

I’m a Koitlefish and live in the Bowdlearium. I have a turtle’s fin, bee’s legs and I can swim very fast.
Hello! We're Axil and Karl, and we're the King's bodyguards. Don’t be afraid of us. We’re very gentle unless someone upsets the King. Then we protect him at all costs.
They all say I’m the best storyteller in Bowdleflodeland. My name is Lolly and I’m a Giroflode and over 6 metres tall so I often have to bend double to talk to other Flodes.
Hello. I’m a Spring tailed Butterfowl and I pollenate the flowers and fruit but please don’t annoy me as I’ve got a very painful sting.
I’m Granny Midge and I have 6 Midgelet grandchildren who sometimes all appear, being quite naughty, in The Bowdleflode Stories.

Have you visited a zoo yet?

Wow! I’ve just landed. I’m Roarie the Flying Dog. Read about how Prof Gett cures my rusty wheels in Book 3. A very lucky dog thanks to the Elf’s special medicines.

Hello. I'm a Horbirish; officially known as Gracieflodus Dorsetrius, from the Jurassic Coast of Planet Earth. I evolved millions of years ago and am part Horse, part Bird and part Fish. You may find me nesting in a river near the Bowdleflode Zoo.
Believe it or not I’m a Unipiggyrabbit and I’m quite little and very timid so please be nice to me.
I’m Maisie Moo and I live just outside the zoo in the fields with a whole herd of beautiful bright green Maisies but I’m the only one who produces the most beautiful cream.
Hello. I’m sliding along and I’m called Flick. I’m the only snail who can fly and I’ve got beautiful butterfly wings.

Have you chosen an Endangered Species yet?

I’m Flick’s best friend, the Bug-eyed Slailug. We hang out together and try to make sure no one steps on us in this very busy Bowdleflode Zoo.
Everybody knows me. I’m Enerie the Elephlode from the Isle of Eyemallalone where I live with my wife Ellie and our twin baby Ellies.
I'm Monsieur Croconoir. I'm a volunteer zookeeper at the Bowdleflodes Zoo.
I come from where the Red Indians live and I look like an Elephant but I’ve got a human body and tiger’s hands and feet. I can be quite fierce like a tiger.
I come from India and can be evil but I’m nice when I’m tamed. I have the body of a frog, the tail of a rabbit and the head of a cat.

Have you entered your own animal yet?

I’m cheeky small and cute and live in caves but I have a dragon’s head and a horse’s body but a bird’s tail.
I live mostly in the sea but I can live on land and because I have lovely coloured wings which I breathe through, I can also fly. In the water I swim really fast.
I come from the Sahara Desert and I normally hunt when its cool at night and I swoop down to eat Tarantulas. I’ve also got a very nasty dangerous sting.
You can find me on Earth on the beaches in Kos in Greece but beware as I am one metre long and can rip my prey apart with my sharp teeth. In the zoo here I am not at all aggressive.
I come from South America and live in the forest. I am part tiger but have a lizard’s neck and I’ve also got wings. I am extremely friendly and kind and can take you around the zoo if you like.

Have you visited a zoo yet?

I live in ponds in England and I am a very naughty colourful duck and I’m extremely protective of my eggs.
Hello. I come from Egypt and have a ladybug’s face but a snake’s eyes, pig’s nose and butterfly wings. I kill my prey with a venomous snake’s tongue and in the desert eat any animal I can find, but in Bowdleflodeland I’m peaceful.
I come from Japan and my body looks like the colours of a wine gum packet! But I have the face of a cat and the body of a snake and actually I’m a bit of a diva !
I live in forest lakes in England but have been swimming in Scotland with Nessie, the Loch Ness Monster. I’m a mixture of a cat, a lizard and a duck.
I live in cool Greek caves and I’m swaggy, colourful, naughty, cheeky and a bit stupid sometimes !

Have you adopted an animal yet?

I live in cool Greek caves and I’m swaggy, colourful, naughty, cheeky and a bit stupid sometimes !
I’m Australian and have a very dark blue, black body and live by the Ocean and eat fish which I catch with my sharp teeth. I can swim fast as I’ve also got fins.
I’m a bit of a loner. I come from Afghanistan and live in caves and hunt. I eat meat. In the zoo they have found me very obedient.
Good day to you! My name is Her Royal Highness Queen Charlotte of the Bowdleflodes. Everybody does what I say around here, but you are very welcome to Bowdleflodeland. Welcome!
