Here’s How it Works

  • If you haven’t already, please register.  We need your details so that we can return drawings and send you a certificate to give to your child. We also email confirmations and send monthly Bowdleflode News updates (optional).
  • You can choose to enter online or by post, but either way, you will need to download the Creative Creatures form (see link below).
  • Children then draw or paint a Creative Creature made up of parts of all sorts of animals, ideally of endangered species, and name it and describe it on the form.
  • For the drawing, please use A3 paper and keep it clean with no added text or backgrounds. Strong colours are best.
  • The project can be done in one session or over a period of time.
  • Once completed, you can either scan and email the form and your child’s picture to hello@bowdleflodes.com, OR if you prefer to post the entry, drawings with the description sheet and the parental permission form should be stapled together and posted to:

Bowdleflode HQ at Graingers, Southbrook Road, West Ashling, Chichester  PO18 8DN, UK.

  • If you submit by post, your artwork will be returned as soon as we have put it on the website.
  • You can find your creature under the heading Creative Creatures.  Each creature has its own free webpage.
  • T shirts, mugs, cushions and clocks with the child’s animal can be ordered from the child’s Creative Creature page or from the Bowdleshop. They make lovely presents.
