Dunhurst, Bedales Prep School – Petersfield, UK
Bedales is a well-known English public school which has a prep school, Dunhurst and a pre-prep, Dunannie, all sharing the same 120-acre estate in the South Downs countryside, near Petersfield in Hampshire.
Dunhurst, which opened in 1905, embraces the Bedales ethos of individuality in its pupils and today has nearly 300 pupils.
Colin Baty, the headmaster of Dunhurst says: ‘We strive to give your child roots and wings. Roots so they can feel grounded and safe; wings to fly with and an ‘I can’ attitude’. The Bowdleflode Project is proud to welcome Dunhurst’s pupils’ animals into the online Bowdleflode Zoo.
Petersfield is a small market town not far from the coastal town of Portsmouth in southern England, about 60 miles south west of London.
When the children’s animals arrive at the zoo, you will be able to see them by clicking on their class name which will appear below and then on the thumbnail of their animal to see it properly. Coming soon…!
