Daresbury School – Warrington
Daresbury School is a primary school in Daresbury, close to Runcorn in North Cheshire in England. It has about 130 pupils between 4 and 11 years old, on a pretty, rural site.
Daresbury itself is a small leafy, green village of just over 200 people and its main claim to fame is that it is the birthplace of Lewis Carroll, the author of Alice in Wonderland. It is also home to Daresbury Laboratory which is a government-funded laboratory specialising in particle physics and bio-medicine among other subjects.
